An occupancy sensor is an electronic device that detects the presence or absence of physical presences such as humans or objects in an environment. Operating with microwave / radar technology, the MO36016 emits electromagnetic waves and detects movements around it. When a moving object changes the reflection time or frequency of the emitted microwave signals, the sensor detects these changes and senses movement. When movement detection ends, it automatically turns off the circuit upon the expiration of the pre-set time period. Thanks to the daylight detection feature in the product's architecture, optionally, if there is sufficient brightness in the environment during the day, the circuit will not become active even if movement is detected. Lighting sensors make energy consumption more efficient while providing savings, increasing user comfort, significantly reducing environmental impacts, and offering economic advantages.
